PHD Scholarship

INDIGENOUS HEALTH IS AN AREA WE SHOULD ALL TAKE SERIOUSLY. THE MEN OF MALVERN CERTAINLY DO!

>Over 30 community grants allowing organisations Australia wide to run health promotion events during International Men’s Health week

> two refugees to be swim coaches.

>two asylum seekers to study a Bachelor of Community Development

> Perinatal Infant Research Institute at Austin Hospital to develop DadBooster, a self-help program for men with mood and mental health issues around pregnancy.

>and contributed to appeals at Very Special Kids, The Avalon Centre, StKilda Mission and Plaster House

Men of Malvern have initiated and run

>two twilight health forums at the Malvern Town Hall

>provided activities for isolated men at Glenloch homes

>Ride on Stonnington, a cycling experience for novice riders

> Check the Male Health Expo at Malvern Town Hall

We are always on the lookout for projects that fall within the general area of men’s health and welfare.
